disability

shadow live with many disabilities. not plan ever list all out, but most important know about cognitive problems.
these impact everything, but most notable language, executive function, and feelings.
that means:

• no, can not just change how write. use something call AAC, in specific one that have buttons which generate words and speech. take long time write things for this, but can not write really anything useful without. do put very much work in try make as readable as can.
• no, not let anyone re-write what say. very personal thing. if ever want re-write things here, will ask someone that know and trust very well to convey.
• struggle understand what others say, may need things in more simple words. this not mean treat like child - still adult, still able handle adult topics.
• need people be patient. some things take long time click, if do at all. this not your fault, or shadow's.

with disabilities, have history in people devalue, see as something "other."
choose accept that they right. if humanity see as monster or animal because can not do same things in same ways, then not need their humanity.
not belong with humans or feel like one, instead faery among court. person without humanity.

faery

in specific, shadow belong to faery court that can describe as "misfits." those here lose place in world - some wander, some mourn, some not really sure what do anymore. together we create, and live within, large inside world. we might be misfits, but we each other's misfits.
for most part, in specific we from earth, not grand faery realm or far away world. we have domains, things and places that meant protect and embody. this is not all faery experience.

use magic as well, in very faery way. this focus on glamour and enchant physical charms, less so complex rituals. for this reason, toy with words like charmer.

why did shadow choose make site here, not just use something with drag and drop templates?
find those very frustrate. did use neopets as little sapling. never get very good at code from scratch, both with age and brain problems, but love play around.
want have full control what put on page and how, even when this hard or bug out. that just make more satisfy when work!
