what is glamourbomb?
others describe history, better than shadow able. instead focus on what mean, and some problems that have with how people frame.glamourbomb often focus on make people question reality and see real magic in world, question that "more" in world than meet eye. glamourbomb can be art, trinket, performance - anything.
yet not supposed "just be cute," like show that put on for child, and not so blatant and weird that make people "think you just crazy". neither glamourbomb just random kindness, or senseless beauty. there should be some point: make people believe in magic, in faery, in this or that or other thing...
personal guidelines
originally in this section, would find list problems that personally see with concept. however, come to feel this might make people think, "then why care about this at all?"so instead, now personal guidelines and opinions. :)
- glamourbomb all about mystery and wonder, make people think something more to life, something special, something strange beyond understanding. not kindness and beauty just because, but to send thoughts and messages. on flipside, not all glamourbomb is kind or something most people will find beautiful.
- glamourbomb not necessarily to convince anyone whether magic and fae exist. not to say this is impossible result, but not make whole goal. may sound contrary, but "something more" is not just these things, and not require spirituality or magic.
- glamourbomb should not harm people. as such, do not target people already know vulnerable, such as with psychosis or severe cognitive disability.
- glamourbomb should not damage environment, human-made or not. no destruction, be mindful of materials and where end up.
- glamourbomb not to lift world veil: feel that any veil which may exist really protect magic and spirits that so choose veil, not universal thing that must destroy. your experience may vary, of course :)
- glamourbomb is for all, not just fae. we should all help make mark on world and bring back some lost wonder, lost mystery.
- glamourbomb should not be only tool in toolbox. but pretty fun one!
how to glamourbomb?
this section not give specific ideas, see here for that. instead, want you think on some questions.- what do you enjoy about idea? do you want see people react, or feel content with just know someone somewhere might? both?
- in your experience, is there veil or other barrier that keep magic from world? if so, do feel need help bring down?
- how far would you go? can you risk do things that might get in trouble? what actually safe for your environment?
- how much might you play to audience, with language and actions they might better appreciate than your norm?
- what do you want people see and feel? what is your goal? why?
others might prefer play "role", use words in new ways as hand out gifts, riddles, and gifts for riddles. what better way be strange than really be strange? is there even "role" here, or simply self? is draw line even important, something that want people do?
still others feel that have message share. how far should that message spread? what is that message? big message that change whole world view not likely take hold in many people but those who already almost there. this just not in everyone experience, and never will be. smaller messages more likely make change - there is wonder in world, and little moments important too.
when know answers, can start think about how might put in action.
